Photolovers is a photographic club located in central India . It is run by a small group of photo lovers, most of whom are, amateur photographers. This club is also registered as a society under the societies act, by the Registrar, firms and societies, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, India.
The objective of this club and society is to work for the development of photographic art. We conduct photographic exhibitions, members’ exhibitions and various other activities related to photographic art.
The permanent head quarters of the society is at 220 Saket, Indore – 452018, India.
The club works in association with various other photographic clubs and societies of India. The all India exhibitions are conducted as per guidelines of the Federation of Indian Photography and the International Exhibitions are conducted as per recommended practices of the FIAP and PSA.
Photolovers has so far organized FIVE International Photographic Circuits, each with FIVE Sections and with THREE independent Judgings. All the five Circuits were approved by PSA ( Special Recognition ) and four were approved by the FIAP. Our excellent colour catalogues of all FIAP approved Circuits were awarded Four Star Category during 2004 to 2007 and our latest 2008 Catalogue which is a hard bound A-4 size coffee book has been awarded 5 Star category by the FIAP.
Photolovers has announced its 6th International Circuit, 2009 which will have 5 Sections and 3 Judgings. The five sections are 1. Color Projected Images ( Open ) 2. Color Projected Images- Theme- CHILDREN, 3. Nature Section, 4. Wild Life Section and 5. Photo Travel Section. Ours is a Dual Projection Circuit and Slides and/or Digital Images both can be submitted. The Digital Images can be submitted by email also and the Entry Fee which is USD 50 for first Section and USD 10 for every additional section, can be paid by PayPal also. An excellent Colour Catalogue is assured ! The Closing Date for the Circuit is 20th of October,2009.
