Photolovers had organized its first International Slide Circuit in 2004 comprising of three salons and 4 sections of CS, NS, PT and PJ.

It was a very successful event and the schedule was strictly adhered to. 

 

We published our 2004 catalogue in excellent quality that received 4 star category and our 2005 catalogue was still better and was published in A4 size which was again awarded a 4 star category by FIAP.

 

Our 2006 Circuit concluded as per time schedule and entries from 37 Countries were received.  This Circuit was given special recognition by the Photographic Society of America and there were 7 sections in this Circuit. These were of Open, Theme Section with theme of "Faces", Nature section, Photo Travel section and Photo Journalism section.  We had added two Digital Sections also this year, in addition to the five slides sections.  We received a total of  2269 images including slides and digital images and these were judged by 3 independent set of  experienced Judges.

 

As against the minimum required level of acceptance of 25%, the acceptance rate of the Circuit was between 32.4% and 42.7%, the minimum was in Theme section and maximum was in Digital Imaging Monochrome Section.

 

We published an excellent A-4 size coloured catalogue on Art paper which had a total of 157 images, including many full page and half page reproductions.

 

All the catalogues were sent to the entrants by Air Mail on time along with all the awards and beautifully & individually made Certificates of merits.
